MHP is an international food and agri company, producing high-quality, delicious products that elevate people’s lives.
Headquartered in Kyiv, MHP has production facilities in Ukraine, Spain, and South-Eastern Europe
Company’s subsidiaries operate in the UK, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the Netherlands, and beyond.
In 2008, MHP became the first Ukrainian agri company to attract foreign shareholder capital through an IPO (initial public offering) on the London Stock Exchange.
The company’s founder and CEO is Yuriy Kosyuk
MHP’s top management team comprises professionals with extensive experience in leading Ukrainian and international companies. They utilise advanced business approaches and build strong teams united by shared mindset and values.
MHP’s Board of Directors, established in 2006, comprises executives with international experience – Yuriy Kosyuk, Viktoria Kapelyushna, Andriy Bulakh, and Dr. John Rich – as well as independent non-executive directors Christakis Taoushanis , Philip J. Wilkinson, and Oskar Chemerinski.
During the full-scale war, the company sees its mission in supporting Ukraine’s economy and food security
In 2023, the contribution of the MHP to Ukraine's GDP amounted to $2 billion, accounting for 1.1% of the total.
This is a substantial figure for a single company, comparable to the contribution of entire sectors of the economy. In the context of war and a general decline in production, such a result demonstrates MHP’s systemic role in supporting the country’s financial resilience.
For several consecutive years, MHP has been the largest taxpayer in the agricultural sector – during the wartime period of 2022–2024, the company paid UAH 18.2 billion in taxes and fees
Despite the ongoing full-scale war, MHP not only continues to operate steadily but also actively invests, and in 2024 was recognised as one of the country's largest investors (Forbes Ukraine, NV). Between 2022 and 2024, the company invested $690 million in business development.
The main areas of investment include supporting and modernising technologies and equipment, driving digital transformation, increasing production efficiency and reducing product costs, improving energy efficiency and achieving energy independence, advancing social initiatives, developing the culinary business, and launching new products.
MHP invests in innovations and businesses that expand our food ecosystem, while also developing strategic partnerships with other players in the food industry – all with the goal of feeding people.
These investments not only strengthen the business but also help support the country’s food security, create new jobs, and contribute more significantly to the national economy.
MHP is developing more than 15 food brands in various formats – from chilled and marinated meat to ready-to-eat meals and snacks
These include Nasha Ryaba, Lehko!, Bashchynskyi, Skott Smeat, RyabChick, and others.
To make these products accessible to consumers, the company collaborates with hundreds of partners across Ukraine – including distributors and retail chains – and, together with franchise partners, is developing its own retail network and fast-food outlets.
This includes over 1,300 stores and venues throughout Ukraine: Döner Market, MeatMarket, Fresh Food, and Nasha Ryaba
The company implements modern technologies to produce tasty, high-quality food for consumers, as well as refined products tailored for food businesses.
MHP focuses on providing value-added solutions that save consumers time spent on cooking, allowing them to invest it in what matters most to them: family, work, rest, friends, hobbies and more. For other businesses, these solutions help improve operational processes and support growth without the need to change their existing production facilities.
MHP is a major player in Ukraine’s agricultural sector and one of the country’s largest producers of grain, compound animal feed, oil, and milk
Modern, innovative, and digital – this is how we describe MHP’s agricultural division, which includes 11 crop production enterprises, 3 compound feed plants, 17 grain storage elevators, and 28 livestock farms housing around 25,000 heads of cattle. MHP’s land bank spans 360,000 hectares across 12 regions of Ukraine.
MHP is a leading poultry producer in Europe and ranks among the top 10 poultry producers worldwide, according to the WattPoultry ranking
To ensure that all products are of a high quality and safe, MHP has implemented a multi-level quality and safety control system covering every stage, from farming to transporting finished products to supermarket shelves, and selling them at company’s own retail outlets.
Production is run in line with international standards, including Global S.L.P., BRCGS Food, GMP+, ISO 22000, Global G.A.P., HALAL, and KOSHER
At MHP’s 37 in-house laboratories, around 11,000 tests are carried out daily – checking everything from grain to the finished product.
